By accessing or using Divvestor, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms.
Educational tool—not financial advice
Divvestor is an educational planning and historical-scenario tool. It does not provide investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice; recommend securities; manage assets; execute trades; or act as a broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, or financial institution. Nothing on Divvestor is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security.
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and should consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
Historical data, estimates, and hypothetical results
Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Prices, distributions, yields, tax assumptions, payment frequencies, ratings, maintenance estimates, projections, and other outputs may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, hypothetical, or incorrect. Funds can reduce distributions or lose value, including principal. You must independently verify all information before relying on it.
Divvestor Fund Ratings and Divvestor AI outputs reflect proprietary educational metrics and assumptions. They are opinions generated for scenario exploration, not investment ratings or recommendations.
Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, safeguard your password, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts used unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these terms.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance for the term displayed at checkout and automatically renew at the then-current price unless canceled before the next renewal. The price, billing frequency, and material renewal terms will be presented before purchase. You authorize our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for recurring fees and applicable taxes.
You may cancel anytime to prevent the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid billing period, and access remains active until that date. Payments are nonrefundable, with no partial, unused-time, or prorated refunds or credits, except where required by law. See our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, bypass access restrictions, scrape or copy substantial portions of the service, introduce malicious code, use automated systems that burden our infrastructure, reverse engineer protected features, misuse third-party data, impersonate others, or use Divvestor for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
Divvestor’s branding, interface, calculator design, original content, proprietary scoring methods, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Divvestor and protected by applicable law. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the service for personal or internal purposes.
Availability and changes
We may add, remove, test, limit, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Errors, maintenance periods, and interruptions may occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of saved scenarios, continued support for any security or fund, or compatibility with every device.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Divvestor is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or investment outcome. Divvestor and its operators will not be liable for investment losses, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in an appropriate court located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
