Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, account credentials, support messages, saved strategies, and subscription status. Passwords are stored using secure one-way hashing rather than in readable form.
When you use Divvestor, we may also collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser, operating system, referring page, pages visited, date and time of visits, and interactions with the service.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve Divvestor.
- Create and manage accounts, saved scenarios, and Premium access.
- Process subscriptions and communicate about billing or service changes.
- Understand usage, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Analytics and cookies
Divvestor uses Statcounter to understand website traffic and usage. Statcounter may use cookies and similar technologies and may collect visit times, IP addresses, browser and operating-system information, referring pages, and navigation activity. You can restrict cookies through your browser settings, although some site functions may be affected.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Divvestor does not directly store complete payment-card numbers. Stripe receives and processes payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. We may receive limited information such as customer identifiers, subscription status, payment status, and card brand or last four digits.
Market data and service providers
Divvestor uses third-party providers for hosting, market data, analytics, email, and payment processing. These providers may process information as needed to perform services for us. Market-data queries and calculator inputs may be processed and cached to operate the calculator, but Divvestor does not sell personal information.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account by emailing support@divvestor.com. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes. You may disable nonessential cookies through your browser and cancel recurring subscriptions through the available account or billing controls.
Children
Divvestor is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
